ABOUT
The Bathroom Darkroom Project involved setting up a temporary darkroom in one of the bathrooms of my shared rented house. I invited applications and twelve artists used the house and garden for short residencies.
The resulting work was exhibited back in the residency house, at the Grosvenor Gallery at Manchester School of Art and published in an accompanying book to commemorate the project. This publication also featured poems and essays from writers responding to their own experiences with shared housing and navigating public and private spaces.
